The optimal fat and protein content of Happy Dog Baby Giant Lamb & Rice provides the perfect support to puppies in the first high-growth months and ensures harmonious growth. A balanced food enriched with valuable New Zealand mussels ensures optimal development of the bones, sinews, ligaments and joints, which play an important role, particularly in puppies from large and giant breeds. Valuable unsaturated fatty acids from linseed ensure that your puppy develops a healthy skin barrier and a glossy coat. Linseeds are also beneficial for the intestinal flora.

To help the puppy develop a strong immune system, their diet should include vitamin C, which is why we include it in our food. Happy Dog Baby Giant Lamb & Rice, with its poultry-free formulation, contains well-tolerated lamb and easily digestible rice, making it very suitable for sensitive gourmet dogs. Based on the Happy Dog Natural Life Concept ®, your dog is therefore provided with everything it needs for its entire system.

You may have wondered why we decided on heart-shaped kibbles with a hole in the centre? This special shape with the hole breaks up more quickly and so is especially easy to chew and digest, as the larger surface area allows optimal digestion by the digestive juices in the stomach.

From the 7th month the dog should gradually be moved on to Happy Dog Junior Giant Lamb & Rice.

The amount of food should be gradually adjusted every 2-3 days or weekly until the recommended feed amount in the next age bracket is reached.

General feeding information

Puppies/junior dogs should be regularly weighed and their weight development should be recorded.
The amount of food may need to be adjusted to the individual puppy.
Do not over-feed – aim for average growth.
Decrease the amount of feed given accordingly if also giving snacks. Tip – use part of the daily feeding ration as a substitute for snacks.
Feed the food dry or pour water over (approx. 60 °C) and allow to soak for a few minutes.
Divide the daily feeding ration into several meals (3-4).
Always ensure fresh drinking water is available.
