VET Diet Skin Protect dry
- Nutrients that are beneficial for the skin
- Optimal for skin and coat
- Easily digestible
- Gluten-free formulation
Note: Our VET diet with skin-active nutrients has been specially developed for dogs with skin problems and hair loss. As the cause of skin problems often cannot be clearly determined by the vet, the VET Hypersensitivity diet is often recommended for sensitive dogs. This is used for food intolerances and is also good for the skin and coat. Happy Dog Skin Protect will therefore soon disappear from our range.
Medicinal special diet for dogs with skin conditions
Happy Dog VET Diet Skin Protect is used to support skin function in the case of dermatosis and excessive loss of hair in young dogs from 6 months and adult dogs. The dietary complete feed features a high level of linoleic acid (LA) and of the sum of eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). These valuable omega 3 and 6 fatty acids play an important role in the skinโs regeneration. The gluten-free recipe with its exclusive and highly digestible animal protein sources of venison and salmon is also rich in skin-active vitamins and trace elements. These include B vitamins and zinc which support the formation of healthy skin cells and help to strengthen the skin barrier.
- Valuable essential omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids support the skinโs metabolism
- Skin-active nutrients help to strengthen the skin barrier
- As an antioxidant, vitamin E binds free radicals and guarantees active cell protection
